In fifth grade, we look to our students as leaders and role models for the rest of the school. We reinforce our Pelican Agreements, encouraging students to actively demonstrate these values by advocating for themselves and others. Academically, fifth graders deepen their skills through advanced exploration in reading, writing, math, social studies, and science. 

Our curriculum includes hands-on learning through games, inquiry-driven projects, critical thinking, and goal setting to build independence. 

Our overarching goal is that our students will build a solid foundation for middle school, fostering both academic competence and the personal growth necessary for the next phase of their education.
