This year is crucial for our fourth graders. They will gain independence and build on foundational skills. They'll focus on creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making, enhancing their collaboration, communication, and technology skills. 

• As readers, they'll improve comprehension and explore various genres.

• As an author, they will produce multi-paragraph pieces and utilize technology for publication. 

• As mathematicians, they will explore larger multiplication and division, fractions, decimals, and multi-step word problems. 

• As Social Studies learners, they will delve into Colorado history, government, geography, and economics.

• As scientists, they will explore the human body, energy, force and motion, geology, and animal adaptations.
